The Fight in Silhouette

One fighter throws a kick while the other raises his guard, both figures outlined in silhouette. The silhouettes reduce the fighters to essentials: distance, attack, defense, and decision. Even without faces, the confrontation remains clear. The confrontation looks physical, but much happens before contact: reading, timing, balance, and decision. Technique emerges when the body responds quickly without losing control. That is where training and instinct begin to meet.
