A jaguar cub nestles against its mother amid the greenery. Their closeness and watchful gazes reveal a tender side of big cats' lives. The jaguar's closeness to its cub changes our reading: care and protection appear alongside strength. The animal's gaze changes how we read the scene and draws us closer to a moment of spontaneous behavior.
