Giant hands move people like chess pieces. The metaphor invites reflection on power, manipulation, and the room we have to choose our own moves. People as chess pieces make power visible. The question is unsettling: how many decisions are truly ours, and how many does someone try to make for us? The critique emerges in the unsettling detail. That is where the scene stops being merely curious and begins demanding an answer.
